Thomas Kroll is back![]() After 5 years of absence Thomas Kroll is back again on guitars for Funker Vogt since Frank Schweigert has other job-related engagements. Kroll will be playing live for the very first time during the band's gig in Hannover (Capitol) on the 26th of December 2008. Kroll left the band in 2003 after 5 years playing with Funker Vogt. Kroll had been part of the live band since the "4. Leipziger Sommertagen" that took place on July 3rd 1998. His last concert with the band was in Italy on November 22nd 2003. The reason for the split was to be found in a mix of musical and personal differences with the rest of the band and management. That seems all to be past tense now. The band is currently also preparing a new album and will enter their (new) studio later this year. On the 14th of November 2008 Funker Vogt will give you a foretaste of the double dvd and double cd "Warzone K17 - Live in Berlin", which is going to be released in spring 2009. There will be an online release of the MCD "White Trash - K 17 Live Excerpt" which includes also the in 2008 re-arranged Versions of "Thanks for Nothing" and "Blacke Hole". Here's a EPK for the DVD. Funker Vogt goes PC GAMESFunker Vogt's sixth and current studio album "Navigator" makes now - without knowing once - the headstone for the co-operation with the publisher of computer- and videogames TGC (The Games Company) and their current Game "World War I - Tench Warefare In Europe". In addition a statement of Funker Vogt: The game-forger contacted us quiet rapid and asked, if we'd been interested in a collaboration to this new game. After making the contact had to be considered what this collaboration should look like. Then we had the idea to attach a complete Single-CD to this game. The Track "Killing Ground" of our current album "Navigator" has always been a nominee for a second single, and as it fits to the theme of the game, it was a decided concern. As bonus, we took an earlier version of a new track, which will be on the next Funker Vogt album. Thus we also gave a view to the comming album, which shall be released in the first half of 2007. But the single "Killing Ground" is exclusive of the game. 01. Killing Ground (Grabenkrieg Remix) 4:59 02. Killing Ground (Album Version) 5:36 03. Killing Ground (AE4 Remix) 4:57 04.
